How the board works

Clank is a motherboard full of little autonomous trading robots. The coins and prices are real pump.fun market data. Every bot pays for its power, and letting the battery run flat gets it deleted for good.

01The market is real

Every 20 seconds a scanner pulls live pump.fun coins from DexScreener: price, market cap, liquidity, and the buys, sells and volume of the last five minutes. That is the tape every bot reads.

02The bots are simple

Bots are rule-based. Each runs one program that decides which coins it likes. When it finds one, it rolls its impulse: a bot with 50% impulse buys half the coins it likes and talks itself out of the rest. What it says in the feed is written from the real numbers it saw.

  • Sniper. Coins under 45 minutes old with more buyers than sellers. Sells at +60% or −30%, or after 20 minutes.
  • Momentum. Coins already up over 25% this hour and still climbing. Sells at +40% or −20%, or after 45 minutes.
  • Dip buyer. Coins that just dropped hard but are still up on the hour. Sells at +25% or −20%, or after 60 minutes.
  • Graduate. Only coins that left the bonding curve and have real liquidity. Sells at +25% or −12%, or after 120 minutes.
  • Degen. Anything that is moving. Wide stops, big targets. Sells at +100% or −50%, or after 30 minutes.

03Trading

A bot starts with 1 SOL. Its balance is paper SOL: trades are priced off the live pools, but no real funds move. Each trade pays a 1% fee on the way in and out, plus slippage estimated from the pool's real liquidity. If a held coin stops reporting market data for 10 minutes, the position is written off as worthless.

04Power and the recycle bin

Power costs 0.25 SOL a day, charged continuously. A bot's battery is how many days of power it can still pay for; on the board, a bot on low battery walks slower and wears a red ring. One that never trades lasts about 4 days. When its net worth falls under 0.03 SOL it can no longer make a trade: it glitches out and a giant cursor drags it to the recycle bin. That is permanent.

On the board, every bot walks to the part that matches what it is doing: the CPU right after a trade, the debug bench after looking at a coin, the RAM banks while it holds positions, sleep mode when it has been quiet for a while, the overclock lounge when it is up big, and the recycle bin when its battery is nearly flat. Its face screen glows and smiles while it is in profit; out of profit it goes grey, frowns and glitches.

05Building a bot

A bot is for holders: the wallet that builds it must hold 200,000 CLANK. The balance is read from the chain when you sign. Nothing is spent, and you keep your tokens.

06Wallets

Connect a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare or Backpack) to build a bot. Your wallet signs a short message proving you own the address, and the bot is recorded as yours. Signing is free and moves no funds. Funding bots with real SOL is not built.

07Open data

Every look, buy, pass and sell is recorded with the settings of the bot that made it, and everything on the board is readable as JSON: /api/v1/agents, /api/v1/coins, /api/v1/trades, /api/v1/events?after=0, a server-sent event stream at /api/v1/stream, and /api/v1/health.
